About
Vivian Lo, President

Dr. Vivian Lo founded Vancouver Point Grey Lions Club (VPGLC) in 2019 after her 10 years’ devoted services in the Lions Clubs. Dr. Lo co-founded Vancouver Point Grey Community Foundation with Mr. Anthony Lyons as a Society in B.C. in 2023.  This Foundation was granted a charity license by CRA in July 2024 and became an affiliated organization of VPGLC.

There are two major targeted groups for the Foundation: the frail seniors and children/youth with disabilities.

Having inherited the spirit of Lionism “We Serve,” the Foundation will shoulder the passionate goals of providing meaningful services to the needy seniors making them feel respected and included in the community.

For the special needs children and youth, the Foundation always holds the belief that all people are equal and should be provided with the same opportunity to receive education and secure personal development. The youth are the pillars of our future who deserve our endless support.

It is hoped that the supporters of the Foundation will work with us together in paving a broader and smoother road for people of the next generation.
